The Radiance of Motherhood, based on Proverbs 31, will encourage mothers in their pursuit to glorify God within their role of being a mother. Few occupations and/or roles are more influential than that of a godly mom. While not all mothers are married, it is our desire to uplift a biblical model that God provides within His Word as found in Proverbs 31. In God’s model of the home, a godly parent will strive to be a godly spouse. Regardless of nationality, skin color, or religious denomination, it is our conviction that one of the greatest influences a mother and father share is represented in the marriage they live. While it may not always work out this way, it still remains God’s desire to see marriages and families that are united in Him.
This in no way diminishes the effort and value of a single mom. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we must rally to encourage and equip our single parents in every way we can as they strive to live for God where He has them. Yet, we must do so in the same manner of Christ, with a fullness of both truth and grace. It is our hope that the body of Christ will support all mothers, regardless of life circumstances, in their journey to be servants of the Lord within the vital role of motherhood. Happy Mother’s Day!
