Too often, this is the extent of my fleeting desires as I pass from one year to the next. Without a foundational conviction rooted to God’s Word that is inspired by the Holy Spirit, my ability to change or to be changed with any lasting effect is highly unlikely. Yet, as I stop and evaluate my life before God’s Word – He works in me. To humble myself before God’s Word with a heart seeking His glory will always yield some serious change in my life.
